The official welcoming ceremony of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place at Ala-Archa state residence on Friday.
While getting acquainted with members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, the high guest had a conversation with some officials. His attention was attracted by the Minister of Transport and Communications, the Minister of Energy, the Minister of Economy and the heads of the southern regions.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Presidential Envoy to Osh region Ziyadin Zhamaldinov to strengthen the unity of the residents of the border areas. «If you organize meetings of young people, elders more often, then the ties themselves will be strengthened,» he said.
He advised the head of Batken, Abdikarim Alimbaev, to meet with his colleague, the head of Fergana region, more often.
«The days when everything had to be decided through the President have gone. You have enough powers now. Many problems need to be solved at the local level,» said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The state visit of the President of Uzbekistan will end today.
