President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan on January 26-27. Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Executive Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, announced.
«Bilateral negotiations with Sadyr Japarov are planned during the visit. The leaders of the countries in a narrow and expanded format will discuss a wide range of issues of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek strategic partnership, as well as plans for the further development of relations in the spirit of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness,» Muratbek Azymbakiev said.
In addition, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
A Kyrgyz-Uzbek Business Forum, aimed at strengthening ties between the business circles of the two countries, will be held in Bishkek on the eve of the state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
