Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to jointly produce cars

A plant will be built in Ak-Suu village, Chui region of Kyrgyzstan for the production of 19 types of cars, including minibuses, pickups, sedans and others. Kun.uz reports.

According to the online media outlet, the enterprise will be created with the participation of the Kyrgyz and Uzbek sides.

It is expected that the initial production capacity of the plant will be 3,000 vehicles per year. Gradually, production volumes will increase to 30,000.

It is noted that the agreement is planned to be signed during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Bishkek on January 26.

Earlier, the Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev said that Kyrgyzstan planned to produce its own cars and was waiting for investments from Korea.
