The measure of restraint in the form of house arrest was applied until February 18. This decision was made by the Leninsky District Court of Bishkek.
Doctors of the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare and the City Children’s Hospital were detained in the capital. Bermet Baryktabasova noted that this happened for the first time in the history of the country — without evidence of guilt, or rather, due to the fact that the relatives of the deceased child are high-ranking officials. Fundraising is underway to help the doctors.
