The route for the Immortal Regiment march scheduled for May 9 has been officially announced in Bishkek.
Participants will gather at 8 a.m. at the Southern Gates. At 9 a.m., the column will start moving along Baytik Baatyr Street, then proceed along Chui Avenue to Shopokov Street.
The total length of the route is about 6.6 kilometers.
Thousands of residents are expected to take part in the march, carrying portraits of relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War.
