Border guard Dastan Anarbekov, who died defending the border in Batken region, was buried in Ata-Beyit. Press service of the President reported.
According to relatives, 21-year-old Dastan Anarbekov went missing in Batken on September 17 during the invasion of Tajikistan. After that, fragments of the body were found in the body armor of a serviceman of the Border Service the State Committee for National Security. It was not immediately possible to identify the deceased, since the damage to the body reached more than 90 percent.
«The body of the border guard remained unidentified for a long time, and only after a series of examinations his identity was reliably established,» the press service of the head of state said in a statement.
Sadyr Japarov, speaking to the participants of the meeting-requiem, noted that young people who just started to live were killed in an armed attack on Batken in September, and this was a sad event for the entire Kyrgyz people. He stressed that the Kyrgyz people have always highly valued friendship with all neighbors and resolved the emerging problems only through negotiations.
«Unfortunately, the neighboring country has recently invaded the territory of Kyrgyzstan. However, brave Kyrgyz youths, such as Dastan, defended their homeland and repelled the armed attack. I bow my head to the mothers who gave birth to heroic sons, who defended every inch of their native land, and to the fathers who raised them. The courage of warriors such as Dastan Anarbekov will never be forgotten, their bright image will forever remain in the hearts of all the Kyrgyz people,» the President said.
He noted that the name of Dastan Anarbekov would remain in the memory of the people forever, as well as the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Cholponbai Tuleberdiev.
Native of Talas region, deputy head of Dostuk border post, 21-year-old Dastan Anarbekov died on September 16 while defending Dostuk village on the territory of the school.
