At the final meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov touched upon the topic of ecology of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of state noted that climate change and environmental risks create big problems all over the world.
«We are faced with the work of introducing modern technologies for the development of a green economy, accelerating the processes of landscape gardening. Transition to renewable energy sources and electric vehicles is a requirement of our time. As the population grows, so does the volume of waste. In this regard, there is a need to preserve the environment, prevent air and river pollution, increase the efficiency of resources and process certain types of garbage,» Sadyr Japarov said.
The President recalled that the national campaign Uluttuk Muras had started this year.
«We are obliged to pass on to our descendants our nature in its purest form. Each person should feel responsible and perceive the protection and conservation of nature as their civil and human duty,» Sadyr Japarov said.
