President Sadyr Japarov, together with the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States, visited the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. Press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The leaders of the CIS countries, who arrived at the invitation of the Russian side to participate in the informal summit of the Commonwealth, were welcomed at the museum by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The heads of state visited the exposition at the Mikhailovsky Palace, which presents works by Karl Bryullov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Fyodor Bruni and the works of other masters of the academic school.
After the tour, the leaders of the countries discussed topical issues on the regional and international agenda at an informal breakfast.
Kyrgyzstan takes over CIS chairmanship in 2023.
