In January — November 2022, at least 3.1 billion soms were allocated from the republican budget for payment of salaries in connection with an increase in the salaries of workers in culture, healthcare, education, social protection spheres and municipal employees. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
In total, a little more than 6 billion soms were transferred from the state treasury to the regional budgets, including 1.3 billion soms of equalization transfers and 4.7 billion soms of targeted transfers.
The salaries of state and municipal employees have been increased since August 1.
