At least 509 schools and 168 kindergartens have already been closed for control of the incidence of ARVI and influenza in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Toktobubu Ashymbaeva voiced the data at a meeting of Parliament.
She noted that this is one fifth of the republic’s schools. In total, there are 2,357 educational organizations in the country.
The closed schools have switched to online learning.
In addition, according to her, 168 out of 1,710 kindergartens were closed.
The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance conducts daily monitoring of the epidemiological situation with ARVI and influenza.
