118 swine flu cases registered in Kyrgyzstan

At least 118 cases of swine flu have been registered in Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.

According to it, epidemiological surveillance of severe acute respiratory infections and influenza-like diseases continues in Bishkek, Osh and Tokmak cities. According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), patients are tested for influenza.

«From October to the current time, a total of 1,149 samples have been examined, of which 246 were positive for influenza, including influenza A / H1N1 (swine flu) — 48 percent (118 samples), influenza B — 41.5 percent (102), untyped — 7.3 percent (18), influenza A/H3N2 — 1.2 percent (3), H1N1 seasonal — 2 percent (5). COVID-19 was detected in 38 samples.

There is a tendency to stabilization of the epidemiological situation with coronavirus infection. Isolated cases are registered in the republic, which have a mild and asymptomatic form,» the Ministry of Health noted.
