Ministry of Emergency Situations receives Airbus H145 helicopter

President Sadyr Japarov personally tested the second new Airbus H145 helicopter that arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the President reported.

The new helicopter was purchased in the Federal Republic of Germany at the expense of the republican budget, it was transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

«Airbus H145 is equipped with the latest navigation equipment, an autopilot, designed for 8 passenger seats, has a TAS 620 traffic advisory system, and an additional air purification system. Use of the new aircraft will make it possible to prevent disasters and eliminate their consequences, as well as to reduce the response time to emergency situations. At the same time, individuals and legal entities will also be able to use this helicopter for commercial purposes for a set fee. Funds from these will be transferred to the country’s budget,» the statement says.

The head of state stressed that the current realities demonstrate the need to have modern powerful equipment and means to ensure the safety of people. Modern equipment helps and facilitates a quick response.

It is expected that, within the framework of the agreements between the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, a new MI-8 MTV helicopter for the Ministry of Emergency Situations will arrive in the country on a grant basis next year.

Overhaul of helicopters of the Ministry of Defense is being completed.

Sadyr Japarov noted that the provision with appropriate equipment would not stop, work in this direction would be continued.

In August, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received new special equipment, including a new Airbus H-125 helicopter, designed for four passengers.
