An avalanche in Boroonduu area of Suusamyr aiyl aimak buried a 57-year-old man, 50 sheep, and a horse. The incident occurred on February 12. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
On the instructions of Emergency Situations Minister Boobek Azhikeev, 24 rescuers from the ministry’s territorial departments and structural units were dispatched at 3 a.m. today to conduct search and rescue operations.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations will report the search results later.
