Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Moldogaziev made a speech at the plenary meeting of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE participating States. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
The meeting took place in the Polish city of Łódź. In his speech, the head of the Kyrgyz delegation called on the participating States to look for solutions to resolve conflicts in the OSCE space as soon as possible on the basis of the organization’s mechanisms for conflict prevention and crisis management.
Aibek Moldogaziev also noted the need to comply with the universally recognized norms and principles of international law laid down in the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act of the OSCE, including such as sovereign equality, territorial integrity, non-interference in the internal affairs of the state. He recalled the principles of the indivisibility of security laid down in the basis of the OSCE and the obligation not to ensure the interests of national security at the expense of the interests of the others.
Aibek Moldogaziyev also informed about the priority areas of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE in such areas as the fight against corruption and organized crime, digitalization and effective public administration, reform of the judicial and law enforcement systems, ecology and climate, sustainable social and economic development.
