A man was detained on suspicion of illegal possession of drugs in Talas region of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Earlier, police officers received information that the citizen kept narcotic substances at home. A criminal case has been initiated under the article «Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues without the purpose of sale» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«The house of the suspect was searched and 10,605 grams of marijuana were found. The 60-year-old resident of Talas region was placed in the temporary detention center,» the ministry said.
