Kyrgyzstan through Eyes of Azerbaijani Artists exhibition held in Baku

Baku hosted an exhibition of artists and an awarding ceremony within the framework of the project «Kyrgyzstan through the eyes of Azerbaijani artists.» Trend Life reports.

The exposition was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic with the assistance of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Baku Kairat Osmonaliev noted that the project is dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries and is a bridge of the culture of the peoples, allowing to learn more about the traditions and customs of the motherland.

«Our states and peoples have historical linguistic and cultural traditions. It is gratifying to note that the project aroused great interest in Azerbaijan. The exposition consists of 125 works, each of which reflects the history, culture, customs and traditions of Kyrgyzstan. Moreover, most of the works were created by children, which allows to look at the works through the eyes of young talents. I hope that the project «Azerbaijan through the eyes of Kyrgyz artists» will also be implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic,» he said.

Elnura Iskenderova, co-organizer of the project, member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, noted that the exposition presented the works of teachers and students of the State Academy of Arts, the State Pedagogical University, the State University of Culture and Arts, educational institutions of the country.

«The works reflect beautiful Kyrgyzstan, its original culture and amazing nature, the good nature of this people and heroic images,» she added.
