«Thanks to organized work, we were able to de-escalate the conflict,» Security Council Secretary of Kyrgyzstan Marat Imankulov said at a press conference, commenting on Tajikistan’s aggression at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
According to him, government agencies did not respond in time.
«The Tajik side was preparing seriously. This is a pre-planned aggression on their part. I demanded from the Security Council of Tajikistan to cease fire, in response, they also demanded to stop the shelling. Despite the command for a ceasefire, shelling increased. They did not listen to commands,» Marat Imankulov said.
The Secretary of the Security Council added that some of the Kyrgyz military were brutally killed. He does not rule out participation of extremists in the Tajik invasion.
The invaders sneered at the corpses, their ears were cut off. Perhaps, extremists participated this time. They also shot at civilians. The body of an Afghan citizen was found at the scene of hostilities.
