Drugs and a cache with a large sum of money were found in the office of co-owner of Umut and Co LLC, Dzhurat Abdullaev. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
During a search of the businessman’s office, security officers found ammunition of various calibers, a narcotic substance weighing 2.03 grams, as well as a cache with a large amount of money. Namely:
— $7,354,475;
— 209,164,100 soms;
— €100,960;
— 1,055,900 rubles;
— 155 dirhams.
The total amount of seized money is equivalent to 822 million soms.
«Investigative measures are carried out exclusively on the seized weapons and ammunition and do not interfere with the business of Umut and Co LLC.,» the press center concluded.
Businessman Dzhurat Abdullaev was detained on August 19 for illegal possession of firearms and explosive devices. He was placed in a pre-trial detention center until October 19.
