Mirlan Zhakypov appointed director of Kyrgyzkomur

Mirlan Zhakypov has been repeatedly appointed a director of Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise. Press service of the state enterprise reported.

The Deputy Minister of Energy Tilek Aitaliev introduced him to the team today.

Previously, 33-year-old Eldiyar Kaldarbekov held the post of head of Kyrgyzkomur. He was appointed in May 2022. Mirlan Zhakypov headed the state enterprise before him.

51-year-old Mirlan Zhakypov served as the General Director of Kyrgyzkomur in 2015. According to media reports, he was removed from office due to a criminal case initiated against him on charges of corruption.

In 2020, Mirlan Zhakypov ran for Parliament from Kyrgyzstan party, he was the 46^th on the list.
