Rest points to appear on all popular tourist routes of Kyrgyzstan

Rest points will appear on all popular tourist routes of Kyrgyzstan. The Tourism Development Fund reported.

The organization noted that travelers during their journey along the Great Silk Road stopped to rest in caravanserais, such as Tash-Rabat. Its modern versions will soon appear throughout Kyrgyzstan.

«These will be authentic, carefully preserving the spirit of the great nomads rest places with a new design and modern appearance. Rest point is an opportunity for tourists and travelers to relax, get information, and charge their gadgets. They will be able to drink coffee or take a shower there. Each rest point will be equipped with an interactive tourist display containing all the information travelers need — about routes and attractions, recreation areas and places of interest nearby,» the Tourism Development Fund said.

In total, 68 rest points will be built in Kyrgyzstan.

They will be located in all regions of the country on the most popular and busiest tourist routes and intercity routes. Including 21 points will open this year. They will have showers and a toilet, including one specially equipped for people with disabilities, a prayer room, a small coffee shop, a kiosk and charging points.

«Rest points can work all year round. Solar collectors will be installed in them for heating and hot water, autonomous treatment facilities will be built in places without a sewerage system. Our other initiatives include the launch of shuttle buses, which will take you from Bishkek to Manas airport or Issyk-Kul and back, as well as a network of yurt glampings (luxury places for outdoor recreation) throughout Kyrgyzstan,» the statement says.
