Border guards of Tajikistan detain Kyrgyz truck

Tajik border guards detained a Kyrgyz truck for illegal crossing of the border, its driver fled. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

The KAMAZ truck was detained on April 30 in Khoja-Alo village, Isfara district of Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan. The driver was a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, a native and resident of Batken region. During the arrest, the Kyrgyzstani fled from the servicemen of the Republic of Tajikistan, illegally crossed the state border and returned to the Kyrgyz Republic.

A criminal case has been initiated under article 378 «Illegal crossing of the state border» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The truck was taken from the servicemen of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan and was placed on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic until the end of the investigation.
