Resumption of air traffic with Kyrgyzstan was discussed in Azerbaijan. The Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev met with the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev.
At the meeting, the parties noted the fruitful results of the visit of the President Sadyr Japarov to the Republic of Azerbaijan, which in the future will give an additional impetus and allow the parties to reach a qualitatively new level of cooperation in the entire spectrum of relations.
In particular, the ambassador and the minister discussed in detail resumption of air traffic between the two countries, providing preferential ferry rates across the Caspian Sea for Kyrgyz cargo carriers, increasing the number of permit forms for cargo transportation, and practical use of the capabilities of the Azerbaijani side’s satellite systems.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working on the aforementioned issues and intensify contacts between the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
