COVID-19: Vaccination centers in shopping malls in Bishkek closed

Citizens can get vaccinated against COVID-19 in Bishkek only at the Family Medicine Centers and the Student Polyclinic, vaccination points in shopping centers and markets have been closed. The Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis reported.

Pfizer, Moderna and Sinopharm vaccines are currently available.

According to official statistics, 1,516,707 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in the country to date. Some 1,263,319 citizens completed the full course of vaccination, 185,485 people received a booster dose. There are 1.19 million doses of vaccines left.

Earlier it was reported that 3.4 million people have been identified as the target group to be vaccinated within the National Coronavirus Vaccination Plan. It does not include children under 18 years old and external labor migrants. However, in mid-November, the Ministry of Health decided to vaccinate 16-18- year-old adolescents, pregnant and lactating women.
