Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with representatives of export-oriented and IT enterprises. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Participants of the meeting discussed the development of Leilek and Bishkek Free Economic Zones, labeling of bottled water, lowering of the fee for holding licenses for the right to use subsoil and for the use of surface water resources, issues of international logistics, light industry development.
«The purpose of our meeting is to discuss pressing issues and find ways to solve them. The Cabinet of Ministers has set a course for the development of green, creative economy, digitalization. It is important for us to develop exports, strengthen the industry,» Bakyt Torobaev said.
Following the results of the meeting, the Ministry of Transport and Communications jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and associations of freight carriers was instructed to consider ways to improve logistics conditions on international routes and submit proposals to the Presidential Office.
The Ministry of Economy was also instructed to study the resumption of registration and full-fledged operation of domestic suppliers on Wildberries marketplace, as well as issues of simplification of registration procedures for IT specialists coming to Kyrgyzstan.
The relevant government agencies have been instructed to assist in resolving infrastructure issues of Leilek Free Economic Zone.
