Several government officials were disciplined for insufficient work on suicide prevention in Osh city. Press service of Osh City Hall reported.
According to it, a meeting was held on Monday in the municipality on the issue of raising children as part of the execution of the presidential decree on the spiritual and moral development and physical education of the individual. It was attended by a Vice Mayor Venera Ryskulova, Deputy Chairman of Osh City Council Shaiyrbek Nuranov, heads of educational authorities, directors of schools and kindergartens, representatives of parent committees of schools.
They considered the issues of protection from family violence, as well as the results of the work of authorized bodies in the field of combating and prevention of suicide among minors, educational and awareness-raising activities.
The head of Kurmanjan-Datka municipal territorial administration was admonished, the head of Manas-Ata municipal territorial enterprise and the director of Karl Marx school were reprimanded for insufficient work on suicide prevention.
«At the suggestion of the Osh prosecutor’s office for the failure to take a set of measures on protection of children suffering from domestic violence, for ignoring and non-compliance with the requirements of the law in this area, it was proposed to consider the issue of disciplinary liability of a number of investigators of the Osh Internal Affairs Department and the City Department for Protection of Family and Children,» the City Hall said.
