President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov. Press service of the President reported.
According to it, Uzbekistan is a very important foreign policy and strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan. The two fraternal peoples are bound by centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness, a common history, closeness of cultures, traditions, language and spiritual values.
Sadyr Japarov spoke for the comprehensive development of interstate relations and multifaceted cooperation with Uzbekistan.
«The head of state, noting with satisfaction the upcoming return visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the end of May this year, expressed confidence that the Kyrgyz-Uzbek talks at the highest level would bring relations between the fraternal countries to the next qualitative stage of development in all areas of mutual cooperation,» the statement says.
The President welcomed the opening of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund and wished that its activities would support the expansion of trade and investment ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Sardor Umurzakov confirmed his readiness and interest in the further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations and cooperation in the spirit of good neighborliness, trust and strategic partnership.
