President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. Press service of the head of state reported.
The current directions and prospects of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian bilateral relations were discussed. Sadyr Japarov congratulated Viktor Orban and the leader of Fidesz party on their confident victory in the April 4 parliamentary elections and wished him great success.
The President noted with satisfaction the upcoming anniversary date — the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and highly appreciated the modern Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations. He stressed the importance of further joint strengthening of the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary.
In turn, Viktor Orban thanked Sadyr Japarov for the congratulations and expressed readiness to further deepen Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations both in a bilateral format and within the framework of multilateral partnership.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to the issue of strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing systematic work to intensify bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, transport, logistics and investment areas.
