Rally in support of Russia's actions in Ukraine held in Bishkek

A rally-concert in support of Russia’s actions in Ukraine is held in Bishkek.

People are gathering to participate in the rally. The ex-head of the Internal Affairs Department of Osh region Abdylda Kaparov, a political scientist Bakyt Baketaev, and former MP Evgenia Strokova are among them.

A stage has been set up in the minipark, music is playing. Children were also brought to the rally, they hold the flags of Russia and Kyrgyzstan in their hands.

Organizer of the event is unknown. Dozens of police officers guard the area along the perimeter.

A rally in support of Russia’s actions was also held in Osh last Saturday.

Situation in Ukraine remains complicated. Fighting continues. Russia started a special military operation on February 24, 2022. The number of military and civilian casualties continues to grow. Many states have imposed and continue to impose severe sanctions on Russia.
