Over the past week, price of granulated sugar in Kyrgyzstan has grown by 24.45 percent. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
If on March 9 the cost of the product was 74.64 soms, then on March 16 it increased to 92.89 soms. At the same time, sugar prices rose the most in the village of Pokrovka, Manas district (by 39.61 percent, or 28.37 soms), as well as in Balykchy (by 38.06 percent, or 26.64 soms) and Jalal-Abad (by 37.31 percent, or 29.51 soms). The minimum price increase was registered in Osh (by 3.28 percent, or 2.54 soms) and Tokmak (by 7.15 percent, or 5.22 soms).
At the same time, the cost of sugar has not changed in Uzgen and Kerben. It still costs 75 soms there.
