The International Court of Justice has ordered Russia to immediately stop military violence in Ukraine. The highest court of the United Nations in The Hague granted the claim of the official Kyiv against the Russian Federation. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Twitter.
Situation in Ukraine remains complicated. Fighting continues. Russia started a special military operation on February 24, 2022. The number of military and civilian casualties continues to grow. Many states have imposed and continue to impose severe sanctions on Russia.
