The Verkhovna Rada extended martial law in Ukraine. Its Facebook page says.
Martial law was extended from March 26 for 30 days. Earlier, the relevant bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
Martial law was introduced throughout Ukraine on February 24.
Situation in Ukraine remains complicated. Fighting continues. Russia started a special military operation on February 24, 2022. The number of military and civilian casualties continues to grow. Many states have imposed and continue to impose severe sanctions on Russia.
