Chinese providers plan to enter the Kyrgyz market. Deputy Alisher Kozuyev announced at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on transport and communications.
According to him, Chinese companies offer cheaper Internet.
Deputy Minister of Digital Development Talant Kalykov noted that there are no restrictions for providers.
«We have 13 companies to date. We get Internet from Frankfurt am Main through Russia and Kazakhstan. Our requirement is that the speed should be at least 500-700 gigabits per second. We have no restrictions, everyone can enter the Kyrgyz market by obtaining a license,» he said.
