Bloomberg has suspended the work of its journalists in Russia. TASS reported with reference to John Micklethwait, the Editor-in-Chief of Bloomberg.
«With great regret we have made the decision to temporarily suspend news operations in Russia,» John Micklethwait announced.
The Village also announced closure of its office in Russia. At the moment, the editorial office is safe and works from Warsaw, representatives of the media outlet clarified.
Earlier, Voice of America, Meduza, BBC, Deutsche Welle, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and their projects were blocked in the Russian Federation for spreading fake news about what is happening in Ukraine, Interfax reported. Roskomnadzor blocked access to the websites of Echo of Moscow radio station and Dozhd TV channel.
