Bodies of two employees of the Chinese company China Road and Bridge, who were covered by an avalanche, were found on the alternative North-South road. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Body of a missing citizen of Kyrgyzstan, 24, was found on February 26 at about 12.30. On the same day, at about 3.30 p.m., the body of a citizen of China was found on the south side of the tunnel. Search for the bodies of two more Chinese citizens continues.
Snow avalanches descended on the 326th kilometer of the alternative North-South road (Balykchy — Kazarman — Jalal-Abad) on February 14. Four employees of the foreign contracting company China Road and Bridge were covered by one of them. Three of them are citizens of China, one — citizen of Kyrgyzstan.
