Kyrgyzstanis created a petition calling on the government to revise its commitments within the CSTO and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The petition states that the events taking place in Ukraine, in which civilians are dying, cities are being destroyed, are unacceptable in the 21st century.
The authors of the petition call on the government of Kyrgyzstan to reconsider its obligations within the CSTO and EAEU in order to ensure that the country is not involved in the armed conflict in Ukraine and to protect it from international sanctions and complicity in this military special operation.
Today is the fourth day of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. It started on February 24, 2022. On February 25, fighting took place in the north, south and east of the country. Some cities are either blocked or captured. The number of casualties among the military and civilians continues to grow. Western states impose tough sanctions against the Russian Federation, but they refused to fight in Ukraine.
