Deputies of the Parliament are elected today in Sverdlovsky and Pervomaisky single-mandate constituencies of Bishkek.
Most of the voters chose «none of the above» option in the parliamentary elections in November 2021 in these constituencies, so a repeat election campaign was scheduled.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) registered 53 candidates.
A total of 36 candidates (men — 33, women — 3) submitted applications in Pervomaisky constituency No. 27 and 27 of them were registered. A total of 36 candidates (men — 25, women — 11) submitted applications in Sverdlovsky constituency No. 29, and 25 of them were registered.
At least 110,970 ballots were produced for election of deputies in Pervomaisky constituency No. 27. In the Kyrgyz language — 44,388, in Russian — 66,582. In addition, 120 ballots were made in Braille.
At least 104,788 ballots were produced for election of deputies in Sverdlovsky constituency No. 29. In the Kyrgyz language — 41,916, in Russian — 62,872. In addition, 120 ballots were made in Braille.
The ballots contain the surnames, names, patronymics of the candidates in the order determined by the drawing of lots. There is also an option «none of the above».
There are 120 polling stations in Bishkek, 60 in each district.
The number of voters in the two districts is 219,654, at least 92,587 of them are men, 127,067 are women:
- In Pervomaisky constituency No. 27 — 113,105 voters with 46,753 men and 64,135 women;
- In Sverdlovsky constituency No. 29 — 106,549 voters with 44,273 men and 60,438 women.
The cost estimate for the repeat elections of deputies of the Parliament amounted to 18,486.7 million soms.
