Kyrgyzstanis living in Ukraine are trying to leave the country. Businessman Suyunbek Myrzakanov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, nine citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with their children, reached the border with Poland.
«We drove 16 hours from Kiev. There are traffic jams, there is a little left to the border,» he says.
According to them, there are currently 1,357 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine. About 680 Kyrgyzstanis are registered with the consular service.
On the night of February 24, Vladimir Putin officially announced start of a military special operation in Donbas.
An extraordinary meeting of Russia’s Security Council was held in Moscow on February 21 to discuss the issue of recognizing the independence of the DPR and LPR. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree.
