There were no citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the southeastern part of the country.
«At least 680 citizens are registered with the consular service. They live mainly in Odessa, Kiev and Kharkov. There are no citizens of Kyrgyzstan among the victims. We are in touch with the citizens, they write, call, we are providing information and consulting assistance so far. The situation is calm in the cities,» the diplomatic mission said.
The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan is working to get a green corridor for the Kyrgyzstanis through Romania, Hungary or Poland.
«Some of our compatriots have moved towards Moldova, but there are traffic jams everywhere on the roads due to the large influx of cars,» the Embassy said.
