The first three wagons with 200 tons of spring barley seeds of Vakula variety from Seeds of Stavropol supplier arrived at Balykchi station. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«The seeds have been taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for temporary storage and will be distributed among seed farms and agricultural producers in Issyk-Kul and Tyup districts. Elite seeds will be provided to seed farms, and seeds of the first reproduction — to agricultural producers after laboratory analysis. The cost of seeds is: elite — 53.85 soms per kilogram and the first reproduction seeds — 47.1 soms per kilogram,» the statement says.
Under the terms of Aiyl Bank OJSC, the seeds will be provided in the form of a commodity loan at 4.5 percent for two years with repayment of 50 percent this year until November 15 and 50 percent until November 15, 2023.
