A 53-year-old citizen of Tajikistan was detained on suspicion of murder in Leilek district of Kyrgyzstan. The Department of Internal Affairs of Batken region informed 24.kg news agency.
A man contacted the police. He asked for help in search for his 58-year-old father. The latter was the owner of the local chaikhana (tea house).
«During the inspection of the territory of the chaikhana, body of the man was found in the coal shed. Traces of violent death were found on the body. A criminal case was opened. During the investigation, a suspect was arrested. He is 53-year-old resident of Sughd region of Tajikistan. To avoid responsibility, he fled to Samarkandek village. It is known that the man illegally crossed the border. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention center,» the department reported.
