The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife have been infected with Omicron. The head of the republic himself announced it on Twitter.
«Today our COVID-19 test, which my wife and I did after mild symptoms, turned out to be positive. We found out that we have Omicron strain. Thankfully, we have a mild form. We will continue our work from home,» Erdogan posted.
«We are looking forward to your prayers,» the Turkish leader added.
