First Deputy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kyrgyz Republic Valery Zhovtenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was also attended by the new Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Idris Kadyrkulov. Press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the conversation, the parties considered topical issues of bilateral cooperation with an emphasis on deepening the political dialogue through the organization of mutual visits and regular inter-MFA political consultations.
The parties confirmed their intention to hold joint events in 2022 as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. They also dwelled in detail on issues of trade and economic cooperation, prospects for building partnership, discussed organization of a bilateral business forum, as well as holding a regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission.
