Officers of the State Service on Drug Control detained a man on Bishkek — Osh highway, who was involved in the transportation of drugs from the southern regions of the republic to Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«The 24-year-old suspect was detained on January 27 in Toktogul city near the Partner Oil gas station. During a personal search, officers found two bundles wrapped in tape with a narcotic substance inside — presumably Afghan charas. A bundle with 30 hashish briquettes in the form of matchboxes was also found and confiscated,» the statement says.
