Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov held a meeting at the Ministry of Health to discuss the epidemiological situation in the country and readiness for a possible increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection. Press service of the government reported.
Topical issues of the ministry’s activities were also raised at the meeting — personnel, increasing the salaries of medical workers, optimizing the staffing in medical institutions, and digitalization of the healthcare system.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed to ensure full readiness of medical institutions for a possible sharp increase in the incidence.
Akylbek Japarov also visited the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the National Center for Maternity and Childhood Welfare of the Ministry of Health, and the City Children’s Clinical Emergency Hospital. He got acquainted with the conditions of treatment and stay of patients in medical institutions, talked with medical personnel and gave a number of instructions to address topical issues in these hospitals.
