A pilot project on test use of navigation seals in road transportation of goods through the territory of Kyrgyzstan was extended until February 15, 2022. The State Tax Service reported.
The navigation seal is used to track the transportation of goods by trucks when they are imported from the EAEU states through the country. It is also needed to confirm the legality of the circulation of goods, ensure control over the delivery of goods to their destination point and prepare participants of the foreign economic activity for the introduction of the navigation seals in the Union.
During this period, when importing goods from the EAEU member states, a navigation seal will be hung on the door locks and closing systems of the cargo spaces (compartments) of the vehicles (shipping containers).
The pilot project involves six companies that import alcohol and tobacco products into the territory of Kyrgyzstan — Forester LLC, Sibir Trade, Global Rivers, Krona Trade, Tobacco Market, Ross Tabak.
For participants of the pilot project, navigation seals are hung on cargo spaces (compartments) of vehicles on a voluntary basis and free of charge.
