At least 791 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 43 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 488 people got infected in Bishkek, 7 — in Osh city, 185 — in Chui region, 8 — in Osh region, 9 — in Talas region, 7 — in Naryn region, 17— in Issyk-Kul region, 39 — in Jalal-Abad region, 31 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 2.3, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 194,607 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
