At least 788 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 37 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 523 people got infected in Bishkek, 12 — in Osh city, 137 — in Chui region, 17 — in Osh region, 17 — in Talas region, 7 — in Naryn region, 17— in Issyk-Kul region, 28 — in Jalal-Abad region, 30 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 2.3, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 193,816 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
