In order to step up the fight against the spread of coronavirus and improve the quality of treatment, the Ministry of Health of Kyrgzystan has resumed training and education of national and regional multidisciplinary teams. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry notes that the teams consist of experienced and trained doctors of different specialties: infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists, intensive care specialists, pediatricians, obstetricians, gynecologists, endocrinologists, family doctors and others, as well as nurses.
Multidisciplinary teams were created and trained in 2020 with the support of the Health Ministry and USAID.
Thanks to this approach the strong teams of doctors and nurses are organized in each region and major cities to provide effective patient care, this measure has cut COVID-19 deaths in half.

«It has also been possible to establish a sustainable system of continuing education for doctors and nurses, especially in the regions of Kyrgyzstan,» the ministry added.
The training program includes monitoring and analysis of the situation, recommendations on treating patients with COVID-19 on the outpatient and inpatient levels in accordance with the new, sixth version of the clinical guidelines for COVID-19, questions on the practical skills of oxygen therapy, vaccination and others.
Trainings have already been conducted in Osh, Osh and Jalal-Abad regions by Talant Sooronbaev, chief pulmonologist of the Ministry of Health, Gulzhan Zhuzumalieva, chief resuscitator, and Ainura Kutmanova, chief infectious disease specialist.
