At least 870 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 40 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 600 people got infected in Bishkek, 10 — in Osh city, 161 — in Chui region, 16 — in Osh region, 18 — in Talas region, 2 — in Naryn region, 13— in Issyk-Kul region, 23 — in Jalal-Abad region, 27 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 2.3, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 193,028 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
