At least 781 new cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic, including 36 in medical workers. The Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.
According to it, 658 people got infected in Bishkek, 11 — in Osh city, 48 — in Chui region, 14 — in Talas region, 3 — in Naryn region, 6— in Issyk-Kul region, 14 — in Jalal-Abad region, 27 — in Batken region.
The spread rate (reproduction number Rt) is 3.6, that is so many people can infect one patient. A number above one indicates that there is an increase in the incidence.
In total, 190,468 cases of community-acquired pneumonia and COVID-19 have been registered in the country since March 2020.
